Accountability Coach, Dianne Shaver will answer a member question each week. Please send your questions and suggestions on the form at the bottom of this page . Rest assured, if your specific question isn't answered, you will find your answer in someone else's. It just seems to work that way. But, feel free to ask again. We notice if there are repeat questions.
We will also be posting resources to make your business life easier. While we do not endorse or recommend any specific resource, we have personally found them useful. If you have suggestions to make this page better please let us know. We want to make this valuable for you. My best to you, Dianne
This Week's Resource: Again, I cannot recommend or endorse or be responsible for your experience with anything listed here. But, most are things I do use. Unsplash is a free compendium of photos on more subjects than you can imagine. They have full color, black and white, etc. I use them in my books, website, emails, etc. It's up to your discretion whether you give the photographer's credit. I always do. This Week's Question: When is the right time to delegate? And how do you know which things to delegate? Answer This is always a bit tricky. First of all, why do you want to delegate? And, is it something that as founder is really yours to do? You need to answer that honestly. If it's a task you re not good at and you have someone in your organization who is, that's the perfect scenario, if you have the budget for it. If it's very important and you really can't do it, then take the money from somewhere less important. As you business grows, it will be good to hand off things that don't really need your attention so you can turn your thoughts to things that only you can do and/or decide.
This week's resource: Vaetas.com This is something I personally use. I cannot recommend or or endorse them or be responsible for your experience with them, however. I use them for my weekly videos on Accountability Coach. They are automatically to YouTube and it tracks how any views and the percentage of the video viewed. You can send personalized, trackable video emails right from your Inbox. Select your mobile responsive email template, which automatically adds an animated GIF or still JPEG of your video to your message. The animated graphic links to your full-screen interactive video. No technical pain or landing pages required. . Create relevant, interactive calls to action with a few button clicks. Viewers can easily contact you directly from your video. You can also automatically forward them to any website URL. They now have a mobile app at either Apple App Store or Google Play
This week's Question Do I have to be on all the social media platforms? Which are the best ones? Answer This is my take on social media. Depending on your business certain platforms will work for you. Saying that, I have a client whose genius is her ability to connect with people and get them interested in her opinion because she is genuinely interested in them. For her social media doesn't matter much because that's not where her clients come from. They come from her contacts and their referrals. However, each platform: FB, Linkedin, Twitter, Medium, Pinterest, etc. attracts a certain kind of business. Look at all of them and determine if they have the members that you want to do business with. The question you need to have a really good answer for is: Who is my best client? When you take the time to answer that one, it will be clear what platforms give you the best exposure to your preferred clients. And, also, do you connect better at a mastermind or networking group. Spend some time mapping out who your best client is: age, sex, location, interests, etc. Build a profile and you are well on your way to choosing your best platforms.
