Kiss & Tell: Kiss Your Excuses Goodbye and Cozy Up to a Life You Love!

Instead of sending you a virtual kiss on how to kiss yet another excuse goodbye- I am going to share with you five pretty darn good and convincing reasons why you should keep on chasing your dreams/ideas. Regardless of how silly, big, small or crazy they seem! Why? Because they are part of who you are! Are you ready? Here they come, in no particular order:

1) Life is short!

Realistically, most of us have between 70- 90 years to live. Looking back at one’s life and say, “Why didn’t I”…is the worst thing that can happen to all of us. Having regrets. Feeling sorry for oneself. Knowing it’s too late. Knowing we let the music inside of us die!  This, in one word, is tragic!

2) We become an inspiration!

As soon as we start working towards making our dreams come true we become an inspiration! Not only to ourselves (remember, you are your own experiment) but to others around us. And most importantly, to our children! When we set an example we involuntarily help, support and coach others to do the same.

3) We become stronger!

Why? Creating a dream requires to step out of our comfort zones. It requires to learn new skills. It requires to take no’s on a regular basis.

4)  We become more attractive as a person

Yep, that’s what’s going to happen! How so? We are excited! We show enthusiasm! We vibrate passion! And this energy is contagious. We are on a natural high others feel naturally drawn to. You as a person become more determined and proud of yourself!

5) We learn valuable lessons!

If the outcome isn’t as fantastic as we hoped for we still learned incredible lessons! Lessons on how not- to build, create or follow through with something! We also learned failure isn’t permanent! We realize our fear of embarrassing ourselves isn’t as bad as we imagined!

Are you convinced? I sure am. And here is another good one, straight from the cuff: Just think about the fun stories you can tell your grandchildren one day!
