First of all, apologies for getting this out a day late.  Still recovering from putting on What’s The Big Idea? pitch event.  But that’s perfect for what I want to write about this week.

I’ve recen
tly found a wonderful video series on YouTube by Bob Proctor, You Were Born Rich.  It’s from the 80’s but like all things that are true it never goes out of date.

His premise is that we are all born perfect  abundant, intelligent and creative. And as outside influences affect us we forget that and act as if we were not those things.  We become disconnected from that Infinite Intelligence we were so connected to as babies when all possibilities were available to us.  It is our conditioning that creates our limitations not anything else.  It is our job as we grow to become aware of our conditioning and actually begin to choose only those thoughts which support our true self.

I am not doing his work justice so please watch for yourself.  How all of that plays in to what I write here is something that I took to heart, along with many of the things he teaches.  That being we carry a lot of resentment and guilt which he classifies as the two most damaging things we could carry.  And that they are actually the same thing viewed from different sides.

His solution which I have been using for a few days now is to forgive everyone and especially ourselves.

This is based on what he suggests:

“I forgive______________and hold them blameless and release them to their highest good of happiness, health and prosperity.

I forgive myself and hold myself blameless and release myself to my highest good of happiness, health and prosperity.  And so it is.  Thank you, God” ( or whatever fits here for you.)

It’s a very powerful thing to do.  The second time I did it I was filled with incredible energy that was pulsating through me.  So, I know it works!  I take the most difficult people to forgive and do all of them first and then move on to those who feel less compelling.  I was amazed at how may resentments I can hold.  Some are obvious but there are also smaller ones.  Now when I begin to feel them I immediately begin to say the above.  I know this is changing my life.

I also know that it is very hard to manifest anything when we hold on to resentments or its companion guilt.  If you know Louise Hay,’s book, You Can Heal Your Life, you will see she is of the same opinion.  Most spiritual teachers say the same thing.  So I’m willing to believe them and keep on releasing those I could blame including myself to the highest good.  Try it and let me know your results.  And please watch You Were Born Rich on YouTube!

Please try these simple things to make your life easier and better.  We were not born to struggle. You deserve all the good that life has to offer.

Best to you,
Dianne
